Miss Peaches, Lo-Fi, Johnny Wong’s Dumpling Bar & The Vic in Enmore

Change is not only the signature item for Tropfest 22….with a new venue, new date, new sponsors and hot new food and bar offerings from Riversdale Group favourites, Miss Peaches, Lo-Fi, Johnny Wong’s Dumpling Bar, and The Vic in Enmore – change has permeated nearly every aspect of the big December 8 event.

The finalist program is a celebration of short film in Australia, but come December 8 Tropfest audiences will have even more to celebrate as they kick back on picnic blankets to take in the screenings and new food and beverage offerings.

As the crowds gather and the sun goes down, the renowned teams behind Sydney hotspots Miss Peaches, Lo-Fi,Johnny Wong’s Dumpling Bar, and The Vic in Enmore will bring what they do best to Centennial Park for Tropfest 22.

With a multiyear deal in place to manage all food and beverage at Tropfest, Riversdale Group, Paddy Coughlan – CEO and co-owner of the venues who join the festival line up this year, says, “We’re on the countdown now and the team can’t wait to be part of such an amazing Sydney event. With the numbers tipped to exceed 100,000 at the new larger venue it’s going to be a busy event for us.”

To take all the effort out of catering for your Tropfest evening (just BYO blanket!), the Riversdale Group will create activations representative of some of their best loved bars.  Including:

Miss Peaches

Momma will ship off a good ol dose of Southern hospitality and soul food – including homemade sodas and rustic cocktails, as the Peaches team head to the beautiful Centennial parklands.

Lo-Fi and Johnny Wongs Dumpling bar

From inner city Taylor Square to the green lawns of Centennial parklands, Lo-Fi and Johnny Wong’s will serve cocktails and Johnny’s famous dumplings.

The Vic

The Vic will share their laid back Sunday tradition of spit roast rolls – washed down with chilled craft beers. Perfect picnic food for a relaxed night in the park.

Centennial Park is located just minutes from the Sydney CBD and is easily accessible by public transport, which is highly recommended. Additional bus and train services have been organised to meet demand.
