Riopians rejoice, Disktrict are excited to reveal the details for this years Return to Rio - the ultimate weekend away. Hitting the banks of the Hawkesbury River this November 14th- 16th, the second edition of this musical extravaganza is set to be the hottest ticket this summer.
Offering a magical world of wonder, a party fantastic where time is elastic, Del Rio Riverside Resort Wiseman’s Ferry will once again provide the stunning backdrop for an eventful three-days of fun.
Featuring two epic stages of music, a glamorous pool party and some serious fancy-dress capers, Return to Rio will see the cream of the Sydney social scene descend on this enchanted land for a one-of-a-kind fiesta like no other.
Unlike other musical happenings, the line-up won’t be announced until all the tickets are sold and the 1,500 Willy-Wonka-inspired golden tickets are only available on the melodic grapevine. Seek and you shall find friends, for this fun and frivolity is not for the faint hearted, we only want the most committed and party-loving people to join the festivities and in return we guarantee the very best in entertainment we can muster and surprises to make your rude bits flutter.
What we can divulge partygoers, is a line-up is packed to the rafters with local and international talent, put your faith in Disktrict, as they will deliver. Those in attendance last year, will know Ricky Cooper can be trusted, as an almighty feast of beats was served up on the Funktion1 sound system by the likes of Mr C, Mad Racket, Murat Killic, Retrosweat, Gabby, Shamus and more. This year promises to be another belter, with a stronger line up, exclusive performances, amazing light shows and a much-anticipated Australian debut of a world class act!
In addition to the music, an action packed itinerary of alternative amusement will be on offer. From water aerobics, meditation, pilates and yoga to some really weird stuff you’ve never seen before, this is the land of Rio friends and nothing will be quite as you ordinarily know it.
This ultimate weekend away also promises a queue-free-bar stocked with delicious drinks, tasty morsels to eat , clean, flushing, toilets and hot showers. Complete with riverside air-conditioned cabin accommodation to rest your laurels that doubles as an exclusive venue for the perfect post-poolside kick-on, it’s everyone back to yours for a BBQ.
