Nova has partnered with Universal Music Australia to present a unique experience for Nova listeners to see one of the US’s hottest bands, performing live at Sydney’s iconic Luna Park.
The Brooklyn based American Authors burst onto the global scene after the success of their smash hit first single Best Day Of My LIfe.The band, Zac Barnett, James Adam Shelley, Dave Rubin and Matt Sanchez, met as students at Berklee College of Music and literally had nothing left in their bank accounts when success came knocking at their door. ‘Best Day Of My Life’ has gone platinum in Australia and reached 9M YouTube views. The single also peaked at #12 on the Billboard 100 and reached top 10 in the Billboard Hot Rock Songs Chart.
The band has now released their equally catchy second singleBeliever. The track was originally debuted via homemade video on YouTube in late 2012, becoming an internet hit and attracting over 250K Views. Since then, a still image video and Brooklyn rooftop session uploaded onto the band’s VEVO page have garnered another 650K Views combined.
American Authors debut album ‘Oh, What A Life’ has just been released in Australia and New Zealand, with both territories receiving an exclusive version of the album featuring two new acoustic tracks.
