Last night I was kindly invited to “Chicks at the Flicks” a monthly event showing the latest chick flick, held by the events team at Event Cinema, to watch the new rom com ‘The Other Woman’.
Having recently seen this film advertised everyone it was one of the films on my radar to watch, so when this invite came along I wasn’t going to miss out!
The event starts in the AACTA Bar located in the cinema which is great as it gives you time to relax and grab a cocktail.
There were also numerous beauty stands of interest from Jurlique demonstrations, a makeup artist, a massage therapist and a rep from Ultimo to take advantage of their products and information. 
The hidden gem of “Chicks at the Flicks” were the heavily laden gift bags that each attendee received upon entry into the cinema theatre, that were bursting with a wide range of goodies from lipstick and beauty samples to my personal favourite…..Lindt chocolate! ha!
There were also a number of raffle prizes that commenced before the film had started showing where we were given a chance to win from a great range of gifts!
I had been hoping for the 6 month free gym membership!
The film itself was HILARIOUS and definitely a laugh out loud movie with stellar comedic performances from the cast!
All in all, a great night was had and “Chicks at the Flicks” will definitely become a regular in my calendar!
